Providing Comprehensive Tailored Therapy
Drew received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from LaGrange College and recently completed his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Mercer University.
With over 8 years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations in both residential and outpatient settings. I have worked extensively in inpatient settings with adults dealing with bipolar disorder, autism, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychosis. My volunteer work with 'Lost-N-Found Youth' has been particularly rewarding, where I supported homeless young adults who were displaced due to their LGBT+ identity. This experience has strengthened my commitment to my community, advocacy, and support for all marginalized communities.
I have extensive experience working individually with children and adolescents facing trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and learning disabilities. My passion is working with boys aged four through young adulthood who struggle with learning disabilities, gender identity, sexual orientation, and behavioral issues. I am also trained in Brainspotting for trauma.
I believe in a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy, where each individual’s unique story and needs are acknowledged and respected. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards their personal goals.
